Over the years, we've had some spectacular airshows at Shoreham. Below are highlights from the last four years together with some stunning images of action in the air and on the ground as well as links to some reviews of our shows!
Shoreham Airshow 2006
The 2006 event saw bright sunny days over Battle of Britain Weekend. We hosted a number of the country's top aerobatics displays including Will Curtis in his Sukhoi Su-26M2, Denny Dobson and the Red Bull Matadors. We hosted the famous "Spitfire Scramble" for the first time to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Spitfire as well as displays from the RAF's Harrier GR7 and Typhoon! We also said goodbye to the Utterly Butterly Barnstormers who were making one of their lasty public appearances in St Ivel colours. Shoreham Airshow 2007
The 2007 show celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The BBMF's Officer Commanding, Al Pinner, was presented with a Sword from the Shoreham-by-Sea RAFA Branch to mark the anniversary and to mark the superb support the airshow has received from the BBMF. In the air we had amazing displays from Guy Westgate with his Swift Team as well as the Blades, Team Guinot and we welcomed the Royal Netherlands Air Force Historic Flight B-25 for the first time.Sadly, 2007 will always be remembered for the tragic accident that occured during Saturday's display in which we lost Brian Brown. We will never forget him.

Shoreham Airshow 2008
In 2008, we welcomed back Christian Moullec with his amazing display flying alongside Geese. We also had an incredible FIVE wingwalkers with a very special display from Vic Norman's Team Guinot. The RAF were out in force with displays from the Tutor, Tucano, Hawk, Typhoon and Chinook! The Dutch also returned with their B-25 and we had a rare pairing of Mk.1 Spitfire and Hurricane. Shoreham Airshow 2009
2009 was our 20th Anniversary show and was special for so many reason. The sun shone and we enjoyed record crowds helping raise thousands of pounds for the Royal Air Forces Association. The Spitfire Scramble was as popular as ever, and the RAF Typhoon was stunning. However, it was the Shoreham debut of the Vulcan that proved to be the ultimate highlight of the show. The sight of the "tin triangle" over Lancing College was an amazing sight. We also managed a small coup securing a Harrier GR9 from 41(R) Squadron for static display - it was one of very few airshow appearances by Harriers during the 2009 airshow season! Reviews of the 2009 can be found on Flightline UK and Key.Aero.
